A series of lane closures will take place in Toronto on Dundas Street East between Yonge Street and Church Street from April to November to allow for watermain construction work, TTC streetcar track work and road resurfacing.

A sure sign that spring has arrived in Toronto is the launch of golf season. Beginning tomorrow, Thursday, April 13, all five City-run courses will be open for business, weather permitting, and remain open throughout the holiday weekend.

The ramp from the eastbound Gardiner Expressway to York, Bay and Yonge Streets will be closed permanently as of Monday, April 17 at 5 a.m. The ramp will be replaced with a shorter ramp from the eastbound Gardiner Expressway to Lower Simcoe Street that will open in January 2018.

The City of Toronto held its second annual Toronto Sport Hall of Honour induction ceremony this evening at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre, with Andre De Grasse, Rosie MacLennan and Bobby Baun among the new inductees. Mayor John Tory congratulated the inductees for their achievements and contributions to sport excellence in Toronto.

The City of Toronto is changing the peak-period parking and turning restrictions on some sections of Queen Street east of Parliament Street as well as along Broadview Avenue and Kingston Road to help minimize traffic congestion and improve the flow of streetcars and other traffic.
